"It's interesting, [it's] one of those ridiculous online things, where every time it was discussed, it was 'Please, no Ramona.' You go on Twitter, 'Get rid of Ramona!' "Laughed Cohen.

"But when Ramona says she's leaving, 'Nooo, Ramona's a legend!'" Funny. "It's hilarious." Cohen, 54, praised Singer, 65, for "great television" before insinuating her resignation was shady.

"I had a terrific talk with her about this a few weeks ago, and she was extremely bullish," he continued. "That's it."

Singer informed Page Six she was leaving the show after joining in 2008. "I quit," she said. "Not now"

Other sources said the network didn't offer her a spot on "Legacy," which may explain Cohen's skepticism. Insiders believe Bravo cut Singer after she trashed "Legacy" in the press.

"I've been there forever. When questioned about joining the spinoff, she answered, "Never say no, never say never." "How could 'Legacy' be good?" "They're bringing back folks they didn't want to renew."

The Singer joked the show should be called "The Loser Show" or "Loser Legacy." The new Bravo series will feature "RHONY" alums, including Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and newcomers.
