Jay Leno's third-degree burns are being treated. "Inside Edition" received a video of Jay Leno in a pressure chamber with his left arm bandaged to the elbow and his right hand wrapped.

Leno's gauze-wrapped face is also visible. Dr. Peter Grossman said the hyperbaric chamber reduces swelling, increases blood flow and oxygenation, and reduces bacteria.

Grossman said Leno, 72, was in "excellent" condition after a "grafting treatment."

The doctor stated Leno "performed well" during the first surgery despite his critical injuries. Grossman said, "He's happy today."

The former "Tonight Show" host was tinkering on his 115-year-old automobile when a fuel leak and spark caused an explosion. His friend Dave saved him by dousing the flames instantly.

Leno stated later, "I'm fine." "I'll be fine in a week or two," Grossman reported burns on Leno's face, hands, and chest. He also stated he wanted Leno to make a "full recovery" but did not say how long.

As Grossman gets to know Jay, he doesn't expect months. "I think he'll succeed."
