After his 2017 divorce from Angelina Jolie, he started producing ceramics.

It was originally a Thomas Houseago exhibition, not Pitt's. The artist asked the institution to display pieces by Pitt and Nick Cave.

"Cave and Pitt are already recognised in music and film, but this is the first time they've presented their artwork," the museum stated.

"It was created out of a radical inventory of self, being brutally honest with myself and... taking account of individuals I may have hurt and situations I've gotten wrong," he said.
