Brendan, 53, said former HFPA president Philip Berk groped and sexually attacked him at a 2003 Beverly Hills Hotel dinner.

Brendan's performance in The Whale has Oscar hype, thus he may be nominated for a Golden Globe. Not likely.

Brendan told Baron in 2022's profile, "No." "We have a history. My mom wasn't a hypocrite. You can call me many things, but not that.” HFPA never apologized, claims Fraser.

The HFPA apologized twice, GQ reported. Berk has rejected the allegations but told Baron in 2018 that he issued a letter to The Mummy star admitting to "no misconduct"

Brendan claimed Berk assaulted him in 2003 when Fraser went to shake his hand. "His left hand grips my cheek and touches me in the taint. Fraser in 2018: "He starts pushing it about." Berk described the incident "a pure fabrication"

Brendan indicated that if the HFPA apologized, it would be his obligation to review the matter and make a decision.
