Lady Susan Hussey, the late Queen Elizabeth II's lady-in-waiting, apologized to Ngozi Fulani at Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace stated Friday afternoon: "Ms. Ngozi Fulani, creator of Sistah Space, and Lady Susan Hussey met at Buckingham Palace this morning to discuss the Palace reception incident.

"Lady Susan sincerely apologized to Ms. Fulani during this encounter.

"Lady Susan committed to improving her understanding of the emotions involved and is glad for the chance to learn more about the difficulties in this area."

After constantly challenging Ms. Fulani's claim to be British at the Queen Consort's reception addressing violence against women and girls, the late Queen's secretary resigned and apologized.

Buckingham Palace added: "Ms. Fulani has accepted this apology and understands that no malice was meant.
