Due to her severe multiple sclerosis, Christina Applegate may retire from performing after "Dead to Me."

Applegate, who was diagnosed with MS in early 2021, said her Netflix program taught her what she was "capable of doing."

“It had to be cold, because heat is our kryptonite,” she said of her problems. “Can't work 18-hour days, you know? Impossible.”

Applegate stated her show-runner, Liz Feldman, and the cast and crew were "very lovely" throughout production.
