In a sneak preview of the Nov. 29 episode, Heather said, "I haven't talked about this much because I'm a joyful, optimistic person, but I felt like I was always second."

"No one ever made me feel that manner, but I think when your important other had such a long relationship with the prior marriage and a lot of love,

and it was a very publicized divorce, and you're heading into it, and you fall in love with others, but you constantly kind of think of the ex—like, for me I did."

"So I kinda had to negotiate my sentiments with falling in love with a man, having children, getting a whole new family, making my TV episodes," she continued.

Taylor, 12, and Brayden, 7, are Christina and Tarek's, children. After splitting in 2016, the Flip or Flop stars filed for divorce in 2017 and divorced in 2018.

The couples have had co-parenting successes, like Christina and Heather sending one other Mother's Day flowers last year and coming together after Brayden's emergency appendectomy in May.

Still, they've also had obstacles, like a violent verbal fight at a kids' soccer game in May.

Despite any turmoil between Heather, Christina, and Tarek, the real estate agent stated the children had been the major focus.

"It wasn't always great," Heather said of co-parenting. "We've had ups and downs, as have they.

She realized how much I adore the kids and that they're my priority. The kids are our priority, regardless of the situation."
