On Thursday, new "Good Morning America 3" anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach felt no remorse over their romance scandal.

The couple's first day back was "amazing," Their ABC coworkers "supported and loved" them, even praying with them. "They're proud. "They're consenting adults who fell in love," one source told Page Six.

"They hadn't seen each other since Tuesday. "It's not how they wanted to come out, but it's also kind of a joy," they said.

According to another insider, the couple had been "close friends for eight years" and started dating in August while dealing with marital issues.

According to many sources, Holmes and Marilee Fiebig have had marital issues for years, including accusations of his infidelity. Holmes left last year after a tough stretch. They reunited, but he left "four months ago."

Amy was his lone support when his marriage was in peril again. Amy was the very first person he reached out to. The second source said no one knew he was divorcing until yesterday.

Robach and her TV star hubby, Andrew Shue, also had troubles. A third source informed us, "Amy and Andrew had hiccups, and it's always felt like they were exploring avenues."

Robach's marriage ended "around six months ago," according to insiders. "They were incredibly close and tried to make it work … She mourned her divorce. It didn't feel like it was over cheating," they stated.

Since they became acquaintances in 2014, stories of covert rendezvous and 2017 hookups at various parties circulated about ABC. We hear they were even terrified of each other.

"The rumors terrified them. Panicked. "They weren't right, and after that, they were frightened to hang out or be on air and be too nice," the second person added.

Holmes and Robach would not comment now that the rumor is confirmed. Despite coming "as a couple," they kept quiet on "GMA 3" Thursday afternoon.
