Graydon Carter's power list returns.

When the pantheon-grade editor ran Vanity Fair, his "Best Dressed," "Young Hollywood," and "New Establishment" lists were met with fanfare and provoked a swell party where those who didn't make it drowned their sorrows and those who did rub it in.

Now he's started a "Downtown" list at Air Mail for a special issue. Celine sponsored the issue and co-hosted a party at the Odeon.

The list includes architecture firm  to the stars (well, Mary-Kate Olsen at least) Michael Bargo, New Yorker writer Doreen St Felix, Mike Crumpler of the Dimes Square substack (who says the Air Mail flack, "has never been photographed"),

Zoe Beyer of A24, Anna Weyant, the artist dating and represented by Larry Gagosian, director Sean Price Williams, and stylist Haley Wollens, who "single-handedly

Carter says his editor's letters "prove that, if you have the self-control to sift through the posers and stale expectations of the past, [downtown] is unerasable."
