On Wednesday afternoon, the 40-year-old Prince and Princess of Wales landed in Boston for their three-day visit. The tour will climax with William's second annual Earthshot Prize Awards presentation on Friday.

Governor Charlie Baker, First Lady Lauren Baker, and Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito welcomed the newlyweds at Boston Logan Airport after their commercial trip.

William published a personal statement regarding their tour to America and paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth.

"Catherine and I are happy to be back in the United States and are extremely thankful to Governor Baker and The First Lady of Massachusetts for their kind welcome into Boston," he said.

"On this, our first abroad visit after the loss of my grandmother, I would like to thank the people of Massachusetts and particularly of Boston for their many tributes made to the late Queen," he concluded. "She cherished her 1976 bicentennial visit.

They visited New York City in 2014. After marrying in April 2011, they visited Los Angeles.
