The royals haven't held a state visit since 2019, when Trump visited.

It was also King Charles' first state visit after becoming monarch on Sept. 8. (A royal source confirmed the visit before Queen Elizabeth's death.)

President Ramaphosa will attend a banquet at the Guildhall hosted by the Lord Mayor, City of London Corporation, Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
