Lindsay Lohan says her fashion creations received so much hate': "unfair."

Some didn't like Lindsay Lohan's fashion choices, yet she may have been ahead of the curve.

The 36-year-old "Mean Girls" actress is enjoying a comeback with a leading part in "Falling for Christmas" and a string of headline-making style moments thanks to star stylist Law Roach.

In 2009, Lohan's first collection as artistic director of Emanuel Ungaro opened "to boos," as Page Six put it.

Vogue called the ensembles "disappointing" and "tasteless," labeling the exhibition "a horrible joke." Women's Wear Daily called the designs "cheesy and antiquated."

Lohan stated she "misses" the fashion scene and thinks she was criticized too severely for her work at Ungaro.

Funny... "I got so much hate for putting nipple tassels on the runway, and now everyone does that, or they're not wearing anything," she said, chuckling and calling the process "not fair."

Lohan isn't wrong, given the rise of Barbiecore and the popularity of high-fashion breast coverings.

The "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" star denied making the ta-ta tassels after receiving outrage. Lohan said of her 2009 designer debut, "I didn't notice the nipple tassels until the girls walked out."

Unfortunately, she never got to present a second version; by early 2010, Lohan told WWD the cooperation was over. Now that "Parent Trap" star is back. She may join another label.
