The Queen Consort, 75, toured The Emmaus Community at Bobby Vincent House in south London on Tuesday morning to learn about its present projects and women's-only housing plans.

According to The Independent, Camilla has acted as patron for the group since 2006, and she acknowledged her extended affiliation with the charity in an informal statement during her trip.

The Queen Consort said she wants to visit each Emmaus centre, which helps 850 companions in 30 U.K. communities.

"I've visited Emmaus communities 13–14 times. They're so popular, they're opening nationwide. I don't think I'm ever going to catch up," she stated in brief remarks sent to Twitter by Daily Mail writer Rebecca English.
