King Charles III will deliver his first Christmas Day speech from Sandringham House without Queen Elizabeth II.

The Royal Collection Trust released a 1952 photo of the late Queen giving her first speech on Tuesday.

The RCT says this is the "same chair and desk that the Queen's grandfather King George V used when he made the very first Christmas broadcast in 1932".

The country's first King's Christmas Day broadcast in 70 years will be telecast. Charles may honor his "loving mama" in his national address.
