The Prince and Princess of Wales are ending their three-day tour to Boston with a lavish awards ceremony at MGM Music Hall at Fenway honoring global environmental champions.

"Considerable attention has gone into the show," adds Earthshot Prize CEO Hannah Jones. The green carpet and display will contain three acres of plants, including New England-grown mixed evergreen and deciduous trees.

After the show, the flowers will be distributed to local community organizations. The green carpet from last year's show 2021 will be repurposed. No single-use plastics and energy use are monitored.

The finalists in Earthshot's five categories—Protect and Restore Nature, Clean Our Air, Revive Our Ocean, Build a Waste-Free World, and Fix Our Climate—will receive $1 million funding to achieve their aims.
