Takeoff's friends, family, and fans honored him. On Nov. 11, ten days after the 28-year-old Migos rapper was shot and killed in Houston.

His family and thousands of fans gathered at Atlanta's State Farm Arena to celebrate his life. Quavo and Offset, Takeoff's bandmates, spoke at the memorial service.

CNN reported Offset said, "I love you, dog," at the event.

The outlet reported that he told the gathering he hasn't been able to sleep or eat since Takeoff's death and wakes up hoping the shooting was a nightmare. He wished we could laugh again.

"You did it, Take," he said. Migos altered the future of music. The memorial celebration featured a gospel choir, a stage adorned in white roses, and angel-costumed aerial silk dancers.

And an infinity symbol with Takeoff's rocket emblem at its core, the outlet stated. Drake eulogized, and Justin Bieber, Chloe Bailey, and Yolanda Adams performed.

Authorities confirmed that Takeoff and Quavo attended a private party at 810 Billiards and Bowling Houston in the early hours of Nov. 1. Police stated an argument after the gathering caused the shooting. Takeoff—born Kirsnick Khari Ball—died at the scene after police arrived.

While officials examine the incident, Takeoff's inner circle mourns his passing.

"Takeoff was not only a superb musical artist with limitless skill but also an exceptionally kind and compassionate soul," the musician's attorney Drew Findling told E! News. He will be sorely missed now and forever.
