Wayne Brady honors Takeoff in AMAs 2022: Gun violence must end'.

Wayne Brady remembered Takeoff while hosting the AMAs on Sunday. Takeoff, one-third of Migos, died recently, the comedian said.

"On behalf of all hip-hop fans around the universe, we thank you, Takeoff, for your artistry," Brady, 50, said. As Brady spoke, a photo of the fatally shot Migos member appeared onscreen.

In Houston, Texas, the 28-year-old was with his uncle Quavo when a fight broke out, and shots were fired. His murder is unsolved.

Brady said, "We must stop this senseless and terrible gun violence," referencing the Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs on Saturday night.

Pink later performed "Hopelessly Devoted to You" by Olivia Newton-John. Pink praised the "Grease" star's "wonderful humanity" on the red carpet after his death in August.

Grammy winner: "She was an icon" Her voice was beautiful. Pink's 11-year-old daughter helped her memorize the 1978 song.
