The 40-year-old Prince and Princess of Wales will arrive in Boston Wednesday for Prince William's second Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony on Friday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will accept an award at a New York City dinner on Dec. 6.

William and Kate's first visit to America is eight years old. Royals last visited NYC in 2014. An adviser said William and Kate's transatlantic journey will focus on the Earthshot Prize, "and we won't be distracted by other things."

Prince Harry and Prince William visited the Kennedys. Prince William's Earthshot Prize, inspired by President John F. Kennedy's Moonshot project, was held in Boston, Kennedy's birthplace.
